Washing yeast from a cider, and using it for beer???

I made a batch of Brandon O's Graff, and used Nottingham. Is it ok to wash the yeast, store it, and then use it for a beer soon down the road? Would I be at risk for off flavors??? Thanks!:mug:
 
Generally it is not recommended to go from simple sugars to malt, but I suspect you will be OK. I'd do it.
 
ya, Ill g9ve it a whirl. Re: what you said, the graf actual has DME in it, so maybe it wouldn't be a drastic change for the yeast.
