Hey guys, brand new guy here with a lager question.
What Happened: Went to brew shop and got a European Bock kit by Brewers Best, brewed it up on Christmas Eve with an OG of 1.062. Christmas day I discovered the valve on bottom of bucket was broken and leaking so I transferred it to sanitized carboy (most of it made it into carboy). Followed instructions to the T for temps and such, then on Jan 8th i moved it into beer fridge in garage stepping it down to the suggested 36f-42F by 1F-3F degrees per day. Its been at 40F since Jan 16th. Ive measured FG 3 times and its been at 1.030 each time. The kit says it came with lager yeast which also would work at ale temps...not sure how that works. The ABV range is supposed to be 6.25%-6.75% and its looking like its stuck at 4.3%. Should i warm it back up to get yeast going again or just bottle it and pray lids dont pop off?
