Hello,
So I currently brew with a 3 vessel RIMS( for Mash/Sparge ) and Propane using a 15Gal kettle. I want to do smaller batches and my initial thought was to get a Anvil Foundry 6.5, but in my waiting for that to become available I came up with this scheme, let me know what you think...
Get a 5.5 gal kettle, and an induction burner. Use a Brew Bag for my mash tun (Fermenter's Favorite), and do 3gal batches using this instead of waiting on the Anvil, initial price research says I will save $85. I will have a smaller kettle to clean and the Brew Bag will make the MT easier to clean, plus I can use it for my 5gal+ batches.
What am I missing?
thanks
