Vanilla Stout starting from a kit

I'm relatively new to home brewing so I'd like input from the 'old pros'. I'm considering a vanilla stout for my next attempt. I've got 1 successful brew under my belt and 3 more are looking great, but I'm not ready to try all grain brewing yet. I've only used ingredient kits (blonde ale - was very good, nut brown ale, raspberry blonde ale and an irish red are all currently bottle conditioning). Does anyone have any thoughts on which kit I should use to produce a vanilla stout? Any input would be appreciated.

Northern Brewers sells very good kits. I would start with a base stout recipe and just add vanilla too it.
