I am brewing a vanilla cream ale soon and I was wondering if using some fresh vanilla beans split and scraped in the primary or should I use an extract. The recipe is a light one (about 3.6%) so I want a good flavor of vanilla but to not too strong and "fake" tasting. :mug:

Let me know your thoughts.
