I received a Party Pig a few months ago as a gift and haven't used it yet. But I now see Quoin, who makes the pig, has stopped making them and is just selling out inventory. The only part you need to keep replacing is the pressure pouch, which maintains the pressure in the pig.
But can you use the Party Pig without the pressure pouches if you aren't worried about maintaining the pressure once you start pouring? For example, if you plan to take it to a party and consume the entire amount. This would be treating the pig like a large bottle. If you can do this, what would you do differently? Maybe fill the pig a little more than usual?
