Us05 krausen hasnt fallen/racking

So i brewed a pale ale. I would love to post the recipe for you all but beersmith happened to delete all of mine. I took a hydro reading and i hit my numbers dead on and hit the fg. Tastes great. But after finishing, still the krausen hasnt fallen. Is it ok to rack to a secondary like this? I figure racking might eliminate the krausen?

Don't bother with a secondary, just rack from just below the surface if you are indeed done with fermentation.
 
Are you sure it is done fermenting? An estimated FG is not the same as the SG remaining stable over a period of days. Krausen that has not fallen may mean you are trying to rush the beer, or following a recipe which says to rack to a secondary after five days. The yeast will finish when they finish.

I don't consider my beers are ready to bottle until the SG has stabilized and the beer has cleared of sediment and CO2, in the primary. Time frame for this is usually three weeks.

More information would be good.

Best to leave it be and let it finish on its own terms. I usually leave my batches 3 weeks to avoid potential gushers.

Post a picture of the "krausen". You sure it is one.

Pale ale. No need for a secondary.

I've never had a krausen stick around longer than a normal timeframe with S-05

Two possibilities spring to mind
1: It's not krausen but yeast rafts or something like that and fermentation is done. Package the beer up
2: It is krausen and you are following the kit instructions blindly ( been there done that :))re transfer to secondary after x days. Do nothing till it's finished. Krausen dropped, beer clearing, no more activity.

Either way secondary is pointless extra busy work.
