I'm going to feel bad for Upland when their Secret Barrel tastings are all of 20 suckers who signed up. With the "exclusive" sours, members will probably have the ability to buy 50 bottles each.

As someone who has never won a single ******* Upland lottery (seriously, 0 for like 392 with relatives) I see more value than most do in this thing. But it baffles me anyone would try to defend it or compare it to ANY other RS out there. All I keep reading is members (more specifically, hey you, yeah you Mongo) are giving Upland cash that will help them grow which benefits THEM, NON-MEMBERS and MEMBERS.

So in other words, a couple years from now when Upland sours are again somewhat shelf beers and you don't have to win a lottery or buy a membership, you can all thank me.

And I say, in advance, you are all very welcome.

Also, him being from Muncie explains a LOT. Anyone from Indiana will understand that.

I like how he thanked everyone who joined already when he could have just thanked MordorMongo directly.
I am banned, and if he mentioned me by name the post would be deleted. ;) (seriously, like two or three people mentioned my name earlier in that thread and the bros yanked the posts....quickly)

Between mentioning you and a ZJ comment (unrelated posts :) ) I got a time out again!

The more I look in the mirror the more I feel shame for how hard I let myself get ******.

No reach around.

No tip left on night stand.

No flowers.

No breakfast in bed.

And I had to pay for it, twice.
Trade you KBS for your bottles to help your feels man. Oh wait what ******* bottles, that and I gave away all my KBS.

I just realized that if all of you bastards from outside of Indiana hate Upland, locals will have a better chance at always winning the lotteries, and possibly even have Upland on the shelves again like in 2010.

Upland, great job, please do more of this for my own personal benefit.

Nah just means we will let the locals fund the program and take chances with the lottery. 2 for 2 so far sorry MordorMongo

Are restaurant owners in Chicago particularly incompetent? That's not a stereotype I was aware of.

The competition in Chicago is especially fierce. While there is a large number of extremely competent restaurant owners, there is also a glut of crazed trust fund people who watch iron chef america and then decide to open "the next great restaurant." **** is scary, bruh. Also, you called me poor and dumb for not wanting to pay 40 bones for a DDG. Come to Chicago so I can buy you beer and squash this street-tuff beef we got goin'. I don't wanna hafta slang barz 2 kill dis fued, nawmsayin?

are they gonna cancel the program if they don't get enough people? if not it might be worth it if they plan to let you guys buy the extras. they'd probably just raffle them off but if they allotted a certain percentage of the bottles to members and only 5 people signed up, they could all walk away with like 40 bottles. totally worth it in that case.

But they're still asking $25 a bottle for beers that New Glarus would charge $9 for. Also, there are 750ml of Drie Fonteinen OG on the shelf!
