Unplanned Decoction?

So I originally planned on doing a Double Decoction for a Hefeweizen I am (currently) brewing. I decided against it due to time constraints. The mash temps for 60 minutes were actually closer to 145 due to a thermometer inconsistency.

I figured, what the hell. This batch is a 3 gallon test/why the hell not batch, so I pulled out about a gallon for a decoction to bring it up to about 155 for another 20 minutes or so.

Would this help to balance out any less desired results on this beer and also to finish up the probably incomplete starch conversion?
