tubing size question

If i get 5/16" tubing what size T splitter would i need? Would 3/8" work?

Not sure what kind of tubing you are using but in general... Yes a 3/8" fitting should work with 5/16" tubing. You may have to heat the tubing to get it to easily accommodate the fitting. I use a heat gun, but have read about others using hot water.

If you are talking about stainless steel tubing... different story
