Forgive my tubing size stupidity...

I ferment in a 5 gal bucket, and I want to auto-siphon into a closed/purged keg via the liquid out post on a corny keg. This experiment is a result of continued oxidation issues with my kegged IPAs.

My question on the tubing from the auto-siphon (unclear on size - 5/16?) to the ball-lock beer out coupler (which I believe is the "standard" 3/16 ID). My siphon tubing is larger than for the barb on the beer out coupler, so I am hoping there is some sort of barbed connector to link these two together. OR a different siphon that would take standard liquid out tubing.

Any thoughts appreciated...

I use ball lock kegs, not sure if it is the same with pin locks or not, but I'd imagine it is. What you want is a swivel nut. The standard size on a threaded ball lock connector is a 1/4" FFL. They sell swivel nuts with various sized barbs all with the standard 1/4" FFL to screw on to the ball lock connector. So if you've got 5/16" tubing buy a 5/16" barb swivel nut, if you've got 3/16" tubing buy the 3/16" barb swivel nut. Just pick up the proper barb size for the tubing you're using.

Edit: I should mention that you will also a need a threaded ball lock connector vs a barbed connector.
