I am in the final stages of making a triple berry wine (blackberry/raspberry/blueberry). Light & refreshing summer wine!
6.5# mixed berry
5 gallon water
8 oz lime juice
8 oz lemon
24 cup sugar
SG 1.080

Approx 1# fruit per gallon (had space issues otherwise would have used more).

I have made a variation of this wine for years.
However I have never added oak.
Was thinking of adding a few cubes in secondary/clearing stage.
I always liked a lot of oak with the grape wines, however this is a lighter blush like wine. Not sure slit would work.
Maybe a little?

Anyone have any experience with fruit wine & oak?
What were the results?
