Damn they are making it hard not to go
Feel you- basically the same exact boat, similar locale (Newington), and I just had a meeting bumped to 3:30-4. #ThanksObamaThese guys are killing me (and my bank account). I just wanted to go there for 6 tonight, walk in, get some cans of PM and C13... now they have this IIPA and I'm looking for a way to duck out of work early.... ******* first world problems.
I just started working in Ludlow, Mass last month, timing was impeccable.Insanely jealous of all you CT guys who can make it up there regularly... This working in Norwalk thing makes that impossible.
Damn they are making it hard

Oh hi there Evan.I just started working in Ludlow, Mass last month, timing was impeccable.
What did I say about using my real name Julian?Oh hi there Evan.
Julian(?), please.Oh hi there Evan.
It is both a blessing and a curse.Insanely jealous of all you CT guys who can make it up there regularly... This working in Norwalk thing makes that impossible.
It was nuts. Hundreds. I'm sure people who got there at 5 are still waiting. Srs.So who hit treehouse tonight? Wondering how crazy
Comparable number of people/cars to the Yarrrggghhh release. So who hit treehouse tonight? Wondering how crazy
Much busier at least by cars. Dean was saying it was their busiest day yet...based on every trip I've made to TH I'd couldn't disagree.Comparable number of people/cars to the Yarrrggghhh release.
Arrived at ~3:45 left with cans and growlers around 6:30.
It amazes me how so many people can just drop everything on a Thursday afternoon and go wait 4 hours for beer. (Granted it's world class beer, but still.)I should've taken the red pill. Or just noped out when I saw every neckbeard in upstate new York, western Mass, and Connecticut who took the day off (or have no job), already in line
I heard the first people in line saying they arrived around 1:20, which means they took the day off or a half day at least. There were 30-40 people by 3:20ish and then you would have had to be there before 4 for C13 cans (PM lasted a little longer). It amazes me how so many people can just drop everything on a Thursday afternoon and go wait 4 hours for beer. (Granted it's world class beer, but still.)

I think it's amazing how few people realize just how large of a portion of the population doesn't work the "typical" 9-5 M-F job. 3rd shifters, non-salaried employees, restaurant employees, many nurses and orderlies....
Many aren't "dropping everything." They're enjoying their time before or after work...or their day off.
I still think a lot of the neck beards aren't dropping everything because they have nothing going on but world of warcraft in their parents basements.I think it's amazing how few people realize just how large of a portion of the population doesn't work the "typical" 9-5 M-F job. 3rd shifters, non-salaried employees, restaurant employees, many nurses and orderlies....

lol So basically just a bunch of jobless rich kids spending someone else's money. Yeah...I find it common that people make that assumption about damned near every person that can make a release at an odd time. While it surely must apply to some people, I find it a widely overused and abused thought process.I still think a lot of the neck beards aren't dropping everything because they have nothing going on but world of warcraft in their parents basements.
