Hi,
can you complete the racking process by using compressed air (12v tyre compresser) to push fermented beer through a filter into another fermenter to increase the time process?
Im finding that gravityflow only works so far, then their is not enough head preasure to push all the beer through.
I was hoping i could preasure my fermenter slighly in aid to transfer into second fermenter.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I would think you would oxygenate your beer plus risk infections like crazy. It is not head pressure that moves the beer from one vessel to another it is gravity and vaccum ( siphon) if your full vessle is higher than your vessel to be filled then gravity will cause every drop to transfer to the new vessel...... on the other hand doing what you are asking about with CO2 is done all the time successfully

use CO2 instead. Plain air will oxygenate your beer and also you'll need an air filter as there's tons of airborne dust and bacteria that will contaminate your beer

A siphon will drain all of the liquid from the first fermenter until it sucks air and the siphon breaks. The bottom of the first fermenter has to be higher than the top of the second.
Or use CO2. Use just enough pressure to move the beer. Be very careful pressurizing glass fermenters.

EDIT: I just reread your post. It sounds like you are trying to filter your beer and the filter is getting plugged up. You want to try to force the beer through the filter, and that is why gravity isn't working. Maybe get a two (or more) stage filter, starting with a coarse filter and going to progressively finer filters down the line.
