too much yeast

Made soda for the first time on sunday. Its an orange extract bought from LHBS. I thought I read the directions right but evidently i didnt and put too much yeast in it called for 1/4 teaspoon and I guess I didnt see that and put the whole damn packet with I know is more than 1/4 teaspoon. Have it sitting 2L bottles in the closet and the wife said the bottles were hard as a rock. What should I do.

into the fridge with them, I had some recently that I overpitched on, the two liter bottles stretched an awful lot, like an extra 250ml at least, had it been glass it would have popped. In any case I opened very slowly and in the sink, if the bottles are not stretched then you should be fine.
