Hey everyone! First post under the electric brewing forum!! I just wondered if you guys had any pointers for me before I finally get all my supplies on Monday and get this thing built. Here is what I plan to do with my $5 dollar yardsale keggle. I have (2) 1500 watt heating elements, I have already installed the two GFCI outlets running off of two separate (not dedicated just to the elements however) 20amp service lines, I will have 12 gauge lines running from the elements to the outlets, and a stainless steel ball valve (all parts where bought from bargain fittings). Any tips on where to place the elements / ball valve? Any tips on drilling / installing? Thanks, hopefully my system will work!! :mug:

Sorry if my electrical lingo sucks

It's not hard to do. 7/8 hole for bulkhead, 1 1/8 hole for the element. Lots of detailed write ups around here for your researching pleasure. Here some motivation
