There are threads such as "Should I buy this equipment?" and "Successful Peanut Butter Stout" that's existence doesn't really bother me, but that I'm not particularly excited about. So, what threads are you ambivalent about?

Anything where lazyasses don't do any research and just want answers spoon-fed into their mouth.

I'm having my Mosaic Rye IPA.

"Critique my recipe"

I agree. Meh.

I'd have to actually make the recipe to make a fair critique of it. My repertoire is fairly narrow - I have a few absolute winners that I repeat ad absurdum to keep me drinking good beer (Biermuncher's Centennial Blonde and my own fantastic IIPA...okay, few=2) and a few that I throw into the rotation for variety. I really don't have time to try out some newb's conception of what might be fantastic.

However, blessed be those with the chops to intelligently critique the ideas of the uninitiated. I raise a glass in their honor! :mug: Hell, I'd raise a glass anyway, but it might as well be in the honor of somebody worthy!

:off: What's your IIPA recipe, if you don't mind sharing? I'll send you mine, too, if you're interested.

It's not as wacky and intense as some crazy fools do, but it makes me smile every time. Sometimes, I use Magnum for the bittering, depending on what I have on hand. I really like the Simcoe/Cascade combo, though.

Oh, the first Simcoe add is supposed to be a FWH (I think). I add it to the first runnings as I heat them in anticipation of the sparge.

Oh, and please do share. As long as we're all also sharing our apathy towards various threads, we might as well share some good recipes. I'm no stickler.

Okay, another meh in progress... "The Dysfunctional-Palooza Obnoxious Masshole BS Thread"

I'm sure it's all very interesting, but I can't be bothered. I'd much rather look at pictures of someone's "Post your infection". Those are almost always intriguing, unless someone's just worried about some bubbles or the usual krausen.

Kind of like being violently indifferent to a topic.
Yes...and to think someone made millions (billions?) off the term 'passive-aggressive.

My yawner is anything with the word 'pumkin' in it...especially sleepy when it is spelled like this. I guess that bug hasn't bit me yet.
