but upon reading I saw that Peat Smoked Malt was not acceptable in this style and the abv is way too high. Can anyone advise what style the following recipe should fall into? Thank you!

10 Gallon batch and 7.92% ABV

30 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 1
2 lbs Amber Malt (22.0 SRM) Grain 2
2 lbs Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L (80.0 SRM) Grain 3
2 lbs Munich Malt (9.0 SRM) Grain 4
2 lbs Special Roast (50.0 SRM) Grain 5
1 lbs 8.00 oz Wheat Malt, Ger (2.0 SRM) Grain 6
1 lbs Roasted Barley (300.0 SRM) Grain 7
4.48 oz Peat Smoked Malt (2.8 SRM) Grain 8
3.74 oz Cascade Pellet Type 90 [5.3%] - Boil 60 min Hops 9
3.74 oz Goldings [4.4%] - Boil 20 min Hops 10
1.00 Irish Moss (Boil 10 min) Misc 11
2 pkgs English Ale (White Labs #WLP002) Yeast 12

I don't agree that 7.92% is too high for a wee heavy. All I'd change in your recipe is to nix the peat smoked malt.
