Thermowell diameter?

Hi,

My temp sensors are a fuzz under 6mm diameter and the smallest in range thermowells I can find are 7mm. Is that close enough? Just use some temp transfer grease on the tip of the sensor and I will be good?

Thanks for the links I actually ordered 8 mm od w/ 7 mm id from amazon.
My question is, will the 7mm id be accurate enough and work OK for my 6mm od probes?

Hi haeffnkr,

The sleeve probe 6mm OD + shrink tube at the top would fit in the thermowell 7mm ID. That i have and this work.
