You mad I broke this first?

Is it even possible to "break" a story when the source publicly posts it on social media for all the world to see?

Someone on BA is saying that Smoke on the Porter is the next Thumbprint, after Cran-bic, which is just hitting shelves this week.

Both of those items are way more exciting than 12 packs of Moon Man and Spotted Cow cans.

Who said anything about hate?

The reality is that their beer will sit on the shelves just like last time around. They left almost on the same day as DFH. Curious to hear what DFH's experience with WI has been the second go round.

give it time. the news is still too fresh.

lots of beer "sits on the shelves". we beer nerds aren't the only market. so what seems like "sitting on shelves" to us because an IPA is 4 days old, to someone else is "holy ****, STONE!!"

I'd be curious if this is the reaction to Alesmith at this point.

Given Stone's marketing is built around Fresh Beer, I suppose that Beechwood will need to change their attitude and/or process this time. Perhaps they will prove us wrong. Either that, or they will pull out again.

Grabbed some Cranbic and Oud Bruin on Tuesday while in Green Bay. Both are superb. Also grabbed singles of Sprecher Orange and Grapefruit Radler. Just terrible. Also the Infectious Groove from O'so... That wasn't bad, but had a weird celery taste to it.

i know we have never met and barely interacted but

WTF
Eh, I thought about you. We were down there for an eye doctor appt for my son. We didn't know how it would go, so we didn't make any plans. Had the appt, went back to the hotel, ran to Woodman and got some Wisconsin goodness, ordered Chinese and hung out at the pool as a family.
Next time tho! We have another appt in early Dec and will probably stay a couple days. We will meet.
