Couldn't make it to the end of the game. Looks like I missed an awesome ending. Glad that Clemson won though!!

I'm going to try to set up a plate chiller for my 2.5 gallon Pilsner tomorrow. I've got the hot side. Just need the right hose and connections for the cold side.

My niece, a sophomore at Clemson had the quote of the night last night. After watching and celebrating the win, she looked at her Mom and said, "darn, I guess that means tuition is going up!" You can't make this stuff up!!

Gonna take a stab at an all grain Pilsner. A little worried about water--I'm using RO water to start and with only a 2.5 gallon batch, I'm a little nervous about adding too much Calcium Chloride. Gonna go with 1/4 tsp.

I had a Ballast Point IPA that had habanero chilli's. I had one and only one. Way too spicy hot for me.

the stout I added 12 grams of a meco chili pepper to and you can feel some heat as it enters your belly. Not unbearable though

Maybe for 10K I could make something up...not set in stone or anything...

anybody grow any hops??

My HBS gave me a bunch of rhizomes last year and they all took root, but no hops. I think this year they will be incredible!!!

I'm getting there, but still lacking in that area. Once I get it down, should make for better beers...or so they say.

We arent too far. The guy who gave them to my HBS is also a club member and he got over 2 lbs dried of centenial, 3 lbs of cascade and just over a pound of nugget
