yes free so are the Art museums.. I still get a membership to the Zoo so parking is free and the Kids get to then go to special events.

We took the kids to the zoo this year. I paid for reserved parking through the parking panda app. That is the way to go. Got there and the lots were full showed them my app receipt and they opened the gate and told me to move any cone I'd like and park. Always been a big fan of the D.C. Zoo. Lots of shade and great exhibits

Day one of beer in the keg. Thought I might have had a leak, but it looks all good now. Tested it with soapy water and didn't get any bubbles. I will keep an eye on it though.

We completed several errands today. Honestly, do they ever stop? Grocery store was a zoo at 8am. We thought there wouldn't be anyone there. I guess everyone else had the same idea as we did. Drove by there several hours later and it was still mobbed.

Bright side of today, all gifts have been wrapped. Whew!!

Christmas ham has been purchased. Ready for the oven tomorrow night. Overnight cooking with apple juice = fall apart smokey ham. Did anyone say yum! Yep. I did. Leftover ham goes into a navy bean soup.

Tried to get a pull from my 1 day keg, got a bit greedy for sure, nothing but foam. Letting it settle. May get a sip of the beer. I'm patient.
