I use my local place which I can walk to. But when i see deals like on hops definitely use yakima and farmhouse. I have used Love 2 Brew a few times because my local place is closed on Mondays.

Since I have two BIAB systems I have considered making a them into a k-rims type system to get some practice in for when I WIN the Breweasy system. By considered I mean already done a wet run, started my yeast starter and picking up the grains Monday while I'm in Lubbock.

In the highly unlikely event that I don't win, I will have to devise a similar way to stack the kettles.

I have also used AIH for kegs and took advantage of keg connection during black friday deals. I really wanted the Speidel from AIH cause I had some reward points and free shipping would have cost me 49 for a 30L speidel....more beer does sell them for 59 with free ship though. Too bad they are both out of stock.

Another fun thing to do is to streak.

This is when you continually post and nobody breaks you momentum. 10 posts is full streak and 5 is a mini.

I hit up a local philly distiller about getting a barrel...he quoted me a real good price. When I wanted it he told me only through this HBS I plan to go to tomorrow

I know. HBT has a spam filter that catches random stuff, mostly spam but sometimes posts from new members.

I just checked it and there was one spam thing, then several posts by some dude. He was posting to that thread, and the numbering got re-ordered after I did that. I thought I'd let you guys know since you worked so hard at that thread.

Also tonight had a chance to keg my imperial stout I got from Kane Brewing. I fermented with s04 and s05 then when it bottomed at 1.022 I kegged it and added to keg a mix of cinnamon stick, 11 grams meco pepper, and 4 oz of cocoa nibs. Might dose a drop of vanilla or some coffee to it at a later date if it gets too hot.

Blichmann has been doing a great job on shipping Quickly. Pretty sure all glasses have gone out. Maybe they haven't sent the. Beer gun yet?
