Did someone drink one and the word's out that the beer is bad?
4.5/5 on untapped but only 14 check ins.

Gotta wait for the boxes to land before the ratings start coming in.
At least there weren't any day of release 5 5 5 5 5 "best beer I've ever had!" ratingsGotta wait for the boxes to land before the ratings start coming in.
Good question. The last club was only like 40 people so it was easy to just let them have at it and then sell the rest. I know the website has an order form on it but don't know much else. Maybe the first few releases everyone won't be able to buy? Or be limited to 1 / per with extras on sale later? How many memberships did they sell anyway? Like 200?Any word on how they're going to support believers club and a public release for bottles (at least for the initial releases)? Won't the first couple of releases be based on their current production capacity at the original place?

glad i won't be near any of those places on saturday.
I'm going to leave the new spot alone for a good long while.Me neither. I'll be delighted when I can walk to a bar in Philly & order a HopHands, but I'm not interested in any fanfare.
Similarly, the weekend when the Fermentaria opens up I'm going to certainly go to the original location & enjoy the luxury of open space.

I hadn't heard that. Seems silly to me since the new place is much larger and it will be much easier for them to fill growlers. Forcing people to go to the old restaurant for more interesting beers sounds like a recipe for disaster. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.As a beer guy what's the appeal? I thought they were only going to serve a few simple beers at the fermenteria and have more offerings at the taproom.
Yeah...the new place is enormous compared to the current location with significantly larger brewing capacity. I'd heard you'll be able to find HopHands and SaisonHands at both locations. As far as the rest of the lineup, I'd heard both locations will have some unique offerings at any given moment. I think too some beer will be brewed at the new place and brought over to the old so they don't have to brew with the same level of frequency at the current location. Again, I have no idea who knows what, an this is just stuff I've taken away from conversations with miscellaneous individuals. As a beer guy what's the appeal? Or a diaper changing station in the bathroom... I remember thinking he was going to lose his **** once when someone upstairs asked him why they didn't have a diaper changing station in the brewery. The real question on everyone's mind is will the new place have highchairs. Or at least on my mind.
They sent an email last week about Fermentaria opening. Before that, it had been a while.Has anyone received a Believers Club email in the past few months? I've only seen one email from them, way back in December. Wondering if I missed something, or if minimal communication is par for the course for TH.
Thanks!
