Has anyone cracked open a Sticky Drippy Crystals yet? If so, what are your thoughts? Have seen jack for reviews on the typical sites, and am genuinely curious.

I thought it was good. About on par with other bottles they've been releasing at Fermentaria. Only complaint would be that the bottle I had was undercarbed.

I liked Sticky Drippy Crystals. Big citrus flavor to me. Very light carbonation but good enough.

Also, another release this Sunday. Pourison, a peach saison or whatever. 3pp. The name sounds like some diseased dolphin, but otherwise sounds like a decent beer.

If its anything like FFTK and Sticky Drippy it will be solid. But yeah its not one of their better names, and thats coming from a brewery who has a beer called "Im Sad"

It tasted and smelled like jalapeños. I liked the spice better than habanero sculpin but I agree there wasn't much of a hop profile.

I made the joke that it would be around a while because 4 ounces was about all people could take. The bartender didn't appreciate my humor either

They take it a bit too seriously sometimes. Sure, they make some good beer but not everything is going to hit its mark, its ok to make a joke a realize not everything will be perfect.

This is especially true of a spicy beer. Though, on the opposite side, it's good to remember someone out there is going to like every beer even you don't specifically like it.

edit: Even the really ****** ones! There is some dude out there that loves the taste of blood and pennies and will swear up and down that the horribly infected mess was totally awesome. Or that pond water is delicious.

I didn't dislike it. But I also didn't want to drink more than 4 ounces...

Shame you can't have more than one beer at a time to blend it with something else that actually has hops.

I realize that's their policy, but did you ask if they could bend it for that reason?

They've removed it now, but they instagrammed a negative review last night and mocked the person for daring to question their beer.

The same instagram callmemickey posted above?

edit: Which is now gone apparently. I'm pretty sure it existed.

Yeah, it was taken down -- which rendered my post meaningless

EDIT: the image in my post was linked directly to TH's instagram post

So what's the scoop with tired hands releases? Just moved back East from Colorado. Basically I'm wondering;

-if it's needed to show up early for this sat's release, and if yes, how early
-bottle shares in line cool?

The answer to both questions is "not really"

Well, the answer to bottle shares in line is no. People are just dicks. And, yeah, for the more recent releases, line waiting hasn't been necessary.

Thanks for the quick reply boss. So I can just waltz up at 12 and grab some bottles? Don't mind having to wait a bit.

If I can make it I'd also be up for a small IP swap, nothing huge. Some TH for some Casey, gotta see what I've been missing out on & am sure someone wants to try dat Colorado juice amirite?

If you show up at 12 the line will just have started moving so you'll probably wait a bit.

Ardmore cops have literally nothing better to do so drinking in line is probably not a great idea.
