No clue.Any idea if that is can conditioned?

Is there anything worth stopping at to break up the drive? Like between riverside and Victorville? Taking the eastern route up.
Damn that sucks; that's what I was interested in.Tried that canned sour at the BnV share. Straight DMS, which is sad.
That sucks x2. Why is it so hard for SD breweries to make saisons and AWAs with balanced acidity?I had the first two on draft and none since. Wish I could go there more often. I thought the acidity was still high on both beers for what I prefer these days.
Lengthwise right, benbikes4beer
Looks like San Diego may start getting a small distro of Alvarado St. stuff....cans as well as draft.
**** yeah. They make the best kettle-soured stuff I've had.Looks like San Diego may start getting a small distro of Alvarado St. stuff....cans as well as draft.
Bakersfield isn't really "on the way" unless you go up through LA then cut over on the 14 after the 5 but if you wanna try some of Kyle Smith's improvements to Lengthwise its worth checking in. Their White IPA is basically Shuttle Bunny minus some abv.
There is a brewery right after you get off the 15 onto the 395 that I've never stopped at and no idea if it's good or not. Oak Hills I think. It's just past the big Pilot Truck Stop.
Sebowski I have a race on Saturday up Sherman Pass outside Pearsonville on the other side of the mtns and I'm gonna roll over to Kernville after. Maybe see you at the pub Saturday Night.
If any of you ever drive out to Kernville and want to add a big ass scenic detour stay on 395 to Pearsonville then hang a left onto 9 Mile Canyon Road, then link it to Sherman Pass Road. Mojave Desert to 9000 feet, then back down to the Kern river and you'll come into Kernville the back way. Get gas at the Pearsonville Shell first tho...

If they skip us VDbags and go straight to SD I am going to be some kind of angry.Looks like San Diego may start getting a small distro of Alvarado St. stuff....cans as well as draft.
Lengthwise and Dionysus are absolutely worth the small detour IMO. Get the smoked pepper seasoning at Lengthwise and thank me later.Lengthwise right, benbikes4beer
Keene Idea is great, but not "drive 30 miles outside of town" great.

If you are in the area, I'd suggest taking the kids to Seal Beach and then going to Beachwood BBQ. The food is good and they have a great lineup. Riip in Huntington is pretty close and they make some decent IPA's.
Anaheim area: Bottle Logic, Noble (right next to Angel Stadium if you want to catch a game), Bruery, Good Beer Company...it's not a brewery, but Hollinghead's Delicatessen has a nice lineup and bottle selection. They have funky hours so check ahead. My wife and I love the Playground in Santa Ana for a romantic dinner with great beer/wine selection.
Oceanside: Bagby, Pizza Port Carlsbad, Ironfist, Belching Beaver... I would suggest trying to make any Pizza Port location. Carlsbad and San Clemente are really cool spots and the pizza is great.
Fallbrook: Fallbrook is closer to Temecula than anything, but you can make an easy trip to Stone if you want. In Temecula I like Black Market Brewery, Wiens and Aftershock are OK, Ironfire is decent. Blackbird and Crush and Brew have a good beers as well as good food. Wineries: My wife and I love Wiens (big reds), Ponte and Palumbo (smaller). The restaurant at Ponte has great food.
I live pretty close to Anaheim and have parents/in-laws in Temecula and Fallbrook. I also have two kiddos. Hit me up if you have further questions. Have a great trip!
If you want to do a Disney meetup, lmk. DCA has surprisingly great beer, sometimes hidden in weird locations.

Anaheim seems to have the most suggestions, though we'll only be there August 19 and 20--looks like the best chance to hit the area suggestions is the night we land, which sucks, because I'll be pumped full of Ativan--so, I'll be pinballing around amongst the breweries; throw me a shout if you see me around that night. Prioritizing BL (maybe FO?), and I can probably hit 2--3 places a night, so will have to check out taplists then and call audibles as I see 'em. Thanks again.
Opened another Saison Prestige today. Still wonderful, tons of fruit.
Got a pour with extra flavor bits last night and it's delicious. Looking forward to future versions.
