Jumping on the shameless plugs train. Before you grab a Riding Giants from Stawn's smiling face at RCNP, stop by NPBC and grab bottles of Death Before Dying w/ (a lot of) Madagascar Vanilla. This was a single barrel of DB4D in Heaven Hill for 17 months plus 23 primo vanilla beans. We net 289 x 500ml bottles, limit 4 per person. Drops tomorrow, Saturday, 12/22 at 10:30am. There will be about 4 gallons on draft for tasters.

Oddly enough I will be in North Park tomorrow morning....might have to swing by real quick.

ISO! I had hernia surgery today... Someone hook it up please.

I'm good! I forgot for a second how awesome my lady is.

Hope the recovery goes well, don't strain yourself.

****. This. Thing. Drugs wore off about midnight. Until then I was wondering what all the fuss was about. Haven't slept. Just gave up 45mins ago since Arsenal was on anyway. Almost fell down when I tried to stand up. ******* brutal.

Any chance you’ll have an extra? I’m heading down to SD today to do bottle pick ups, but likely won’t make it there in time to grab any.

I was only going to grab 2, so yes....now I just need to convince the better half to stop there after a quick trip to Dark Horse.

Awesome, thanks! I’ll take the other two if you’ve got them available. I’llshoot you a text when I’m leaving Horus to figure out where/when we can meet.

It's going to be iffy to meet today...family is celebrating christmas since all of the siblings will actually be together (happens maybe twice a year). So mother is all mother-birdy since we will all be home.

Anyone know if Pizza Port OB is open today? Tried calling and no one picked up so I'm guessing not, but figured I'd ask anyway.

In case ppl are looking.

BottleLogic FO b4, Paisley Cave Complex, Sight and Mind, and Leche Borracho are currently sitting on the shelf at Bottle Craft LPM. Unsure about other BC locations.

Do you know how much they're going for? passed (barely) on leche at texas liquor yesterday for $35, but am wondering if that's the price everywhere. Really want to try that one.

The increased distribution to San Diego for a lot of stuff has been impressive in 2018, along with quite a few of our own local breweries taking major steps forward in their offerings. Quite a year for local beer and bottle shops.

A big thank-you to whoever recommended Wild Barrel, we were planning on stopping by Lost Abbey but then basically cleared the board at WB instead. The Vice beers were awesome, but I wasn't particularly impressed by the IPAs or the Hipster beer. I did really like the old ale.

Semi-related, when did Churchill's drop the Parlaiment burger? That was half the reason I wanted to go there!

I'm not sure we'll be able to do much more, I'm hoping for PP today but we'll see.

It’s about to get wilder - we are going to see Cycle here soon. Rare Dos on the damn shelves (albeit $35+).
