Alpine still has Great (just regular) to go. Also both Greats on tap. $6 for 12 oz is Live Wire cray cray. Got empty growlers with me, anything I should get (that isn’t an Alpine*, but Alpine Alpine lol)?

HFS is good and even regular ass Nelson was pretty good. The nose was spot on, flavor and color was probably... 80%

Lost Abbey shirt? I knew I recognized you but couldn't place it. Unless that wasn't you... In which case, disregard.

Let us know how the membership beers tastes. Supposedly there will be some on tap, hopefully they'd keep it just for members.

Actually rather delicious. I was scared with the barrel selection but it worked out rather well. Got some nice chocolate and dark fruit flavors out of it. Sadly I couldn't let it warm up entirely since we had a lane reservation (lolz, you gotta reserve the lanes) for axe throwing. Turns out, I'm not that terrible at it and will survive in a zombie apocalypse.

It was on draft, and it was only for members. You got a taster ticket with your pickup for a free 4oz pour of it. I did not ask if I could pay for another 4oz pour though.

Thanks! I’m heading down Saturday, so hopefully it’ll still be on tap.

Must have just missed arren at Alpine. Pitcher Perfect was the beer you guys slept on, tasting fantastic and everything we loved about Alpine Beer Co. Great is good but I feel like the hops are clashing a bit with the oak at this point and I’m betting on it getting better with some more cellaring. Mosta The Great works really well for a fresh version. If had gotten a bottle I’d drink it within the next month or so when the coffee is fresh.

Well that's great news.

TalkCoffee - Bird Rock's Kiunyu Peaberry is fantastic, one of my favorite coffees I've had recently. Loads of dried fruit with cinnamon and winter spices.
I'll have to put that on the list. I have an Ethiopia Bensa Bombe coming from Onyx and a Panama Elida Estate from Verve - gonna put my new v60 through the paces.

You don't drink Great - you max out on bottles and try to profit from secondary. Duh.
Does Great even have much of a secondary market? I bought my 3 on EventBrite and then they offered me the option to buy more in person when I picked up. Not denigrating the beer at all, I think it's ******* delicious, but I can't imagine there's much secondary when you could cruise up the hill and snag it pretty easily.

Mostra the Great, yeah, between how limited it was and the word "Mostra," I'm guessing that's going for a premium.

The secondary these days is fueled by deception and the "good word" of those selling it. I don't doubt there are shitlords out there stocking up on it, waiting a couple months for everyone to drink their allocation, and then unloading them at obscene prices.
