The real question is, can we buy some online and also in person?

When they did it for Kiwi Herman, that was a no go. They did the online at 11am and in-person starting at noon, but had a list printed out of those that bought online just so they couldn't double dip.

So that wild barrel news, BTW I emailed and asked about shipping and what the beer was and told this:
"John the beer is an 10.5% Imperial Stout aged for over 6 months in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.

We are still working on a shipping option format, but for anyone who needs the releases shipped I will ship it myself. We will hold the beers for as long as you need us to. I am hoping we will have two more club beers released by Jan-Feb. and then they should come out on a regular basis afterwards."

Seriously, wtf. How do you STILL not have the shipping option worked out? It's been what, 15 months since they took our money? At least it is an option to have it shipped unofficial, but seriously complete fail on all grounds. Why is the beer only aged 6 months? Why a ******* cab barrel?

Well, at least you were told the name of the beer, the ABV, type of barrel and duration of ageing. That email they sent was super lacking in any information as to the member beer. Glad they gave such detailed info. on the upcoming can sale though...

Right? This is a complete joke of a "membership" and a total afterthought after the afterthought it seems.

I am not one who tends to know the names of all the brewers and bartenders around town. I don't name drop or whatever, I mostly just don't care that much.

That being said, having met Jeffers multiple times, he seemed EXTREMELY awesome and he obviously loved what he did. Kinda sad to see him go.

Looks like Council is closing down as well, according to their facebook post.
IG post, you mean? They haven't posted anything on FB yet, not on their business page anyway.

It's a real shame, but I suspect we're probably going to get more closures in the coming months too.

It's only going to accelerate from here.
150+ breweries and increased comp from distribution. Since leaving SD my interest in craft beer has tanked, home Brewing and cocktails increased. Even in the Homebrew side though people are brewing less due to craft selection, but we don't have near the quality of breweries that y'all do.

Was posted 30 mins ago to the company page.
