You need a password to get a ticket, that is only good for a time slot.
It's ******* stupid.
huh, is this a new thing? i've never gotten a ticket or been denied entry (i know the password is posted on social media, but no one has ever asked for it).... always just walked in to get beer (although it's usually been later/less busy when i've gone).

Actually, that's how I've always done it. Just walk in there confidently and order a beer - but the last two times the guy has been totally anal about it.

No. This is actually the way it's been from the beginning. You're supposed to get a ticket from the desk so they can control how many people are in there at once. Whether they actually ask for the password at the desk is another thing but that's been the process since it's opened.

I give zero ***** about the speakeasy nature of it - much rather sit in the main room and watch people react to jukebox choices - but the increased availability of BA stuff on tap is a net win in my book.

The jukebox is my favorite part of the Alesmith experience. I queued up Tubthumping by Chumbawumba on Saturday and knew I had made a great decision.

While I wasn't there saturday.. #fuckyou4that heehehehehe, of course when I see Nick working I always play some Spice Girls to **** with him...and you know....everybody else.

Any death metal on the juke?

Not a ton, but enough to make me feel happy while I am there.
