Your loss. I’ve biked out there twice (and I don’t usually bike those kinds of distances for beer unlike that one other ******* on this board) and totally worth it. BB and Eppig are neck and neck for my favorite new breweries in SD.
lol bikes
lol el cajon

I usually don't go out of my way to go to breweries. I'd rather just go to a bar.

It's in the industrial area. You won't see a single methhead or white guy driving a big truck.
Shrug. Catch me at Toronado or O'briens. I don't even go to Mira Mesa anymore, since I don't work there.

I do need to check out Eppig and whatever ****** else is at that new building across from Tiger Tiger.

So you won't be stopping by

Time to bike up to Burgeon? :D

The other two aren't worth checking out, just drink more at Eppig.

Pariah seems to have some curiosities for ticks. I might get some tasters there but then get pints at Eppig.

Well the password is used to get a ticket at the desk. It is in a framed picture..right in front of you as you ask for the ticket, so you know....right there.

Password will never grant entry into Anvil & Stave directly....only the ticket will.
I've been asked the password in both locations at various times (some visits one or the other, some neither, some both). It seems to depend who's working where and how busy it is. *shrug*

Uhh, Blair Bars jukeboxes > *
Hamilton's is my favorite bar but the jukebox isn't that great. Pretty much only ever use the Maiden/Priest disc. Pizza Port's selection is better since it's internet-connected, and there's the benefit of being able to use a smartphone app to manage it when it's packed out. Barrel Republic in PB uses the same service but they've blocked a lot of the good choices.

I have absolutely no excuse for not checking out Eppig already, but after perusing their website the other day and seeing that they have an extensive lager program, I'm wondering why I still haven't been.

You really don't have any excuse. And their lager program is outstanding. Finally, someone is cranking out a variety of well made lagers!

I never imagined I could take home a crowler of a zwickelbier in San Diego, but that’s exactly what I did there last week. So good.
Whoa, they do crowlers? I'm so down.

Realistically I could walk there, get a crowler, and walk back before the can gets too warm.

Latest batch of PP Carlsbad Manu Bay is incredible. For anyone who loves to **** on hazy IPAs, this would be right up your alley (aka it tastes like pure sexy hops and doesn't look like Sunny D). On tap at Bressi for anyone who lives up in Orange County
Also on tap at OB for those that don't want to drive
