Does to meDoes Apex Predator count?
Hyperbole much?Seems to me "why try the new version of an old classic" question is about the silliest thing you could ask in all of craft beer.
I think that deux amis was €3,50 here. So that might be itOn that note, what is everyone's favorite budget saison?
Just finished the last of the case ;(La Vermontoise or D'Epeautre. €4.50 for a 75cl, can't go wrong.

Tank 7 and Apex Predator were already mentioned (and are my #1 and #2 choices), but my #3 choice is Great Divide Colette. $10/sixer for a good, everyday saison. Can't beat that price.

I've heard really good things about that one, too.Sads to find out today that Odd wood isn't going to make their saison anymore. That was always a nice shelfie in Texas trades.
Allagash Saison is pretty solid, too. Much better than some of the other large craft saison. I'm fairly sure they use Blaugies yeast, and they do it well. It's a good price for a budget saison? Not gonna blow your mind or anything, but at $10/6 pack (so $1.67/bottle) it's a good saison on a budget. Apex Predator is $2/bottle and Tank 7 is $2.75/bottle, which are still really good prices. I didn't mean it was the 3rd best saison I've had, just that it's 3rd on my list of budget saisons.
That sucks.Sads to find out today that Odd wood isn't going to make their saison anymore. That was always a nice shelfie in Texas trades.

A friend in Texas said they were going a different direction with their lineup. No more details from him. I didn't ask for more either.Any idea why?
