Has anyone ever purchased anything from the property room? the bbb doesnt give them a bad rating. It looks like they got some good stuff. Im just wondering. Its kinda like ebay, you have to give a credit card before bidding. I just want to be safe before i bid on something.

I'm registered, and haven't bought anything. The site used to be better. I watched a $4K rolex go for $500. I had a watch maker check out the pics and said "it's as real as I can tell without holding it."

Things have changed. A lot more people know about it, so things don't go as cheap. Although I've looked at the "10 bikes for $1" auctions, I have no need. Some of the power tools look good too. A year ago, I bid on an antique watch and backed out at $500. It went for around $1600, which is retail-esque. Not worth it without looking at it.IMO Now, if it's something worth some serious cash, I wouldn't touch. If you need a beat-up-might-work screw gun, I'd go for it.

I bid on a few items a couple of years ago but never won anything.
Seems as though bidding has gone up.
