Royal Bones – The band’s live show teems with improvisational jams that weave one song into another, creating a unique live experience for the fans every time they play. The Muggs – Detroit’s best known unsigned blues rock trio in the vein of Led Zeppelin. Channel 4 WDIV has awarded them Best Original Rock Band of 2013. They’ve also won Best Rock Band at the Detroit Music Awards in 2008 and 2013 and their sophomore album, On With The Show won Outstanding Rock Album at the DMA’s in 2009.
Joshua Davis Trio – Joshua Davis was raised in the folk tradition: the music, the social movements, the land. He writes songs that blend the roots of American music with gritty rock n’ roll and vintage soul. Performing Songwriter Magazine called the result, “Some of the liveliest and most rocking roots music around.

Please park in the SouthEast area of the parking lot (toward MacDonald’s). Our Neighbors have been cool enough to be ok with us having this event, lets be cool back!!
Designated parking area will be marked with orange cones. Please do not park in front of Fortuna Inn, KV Sports, Verizon Wireless or any other neighboring business!

All proceeds from the door will go directly to Gleaners

HopCat Detroit announced their grand opening date (Nov 15th) and it will be a Short's Tap Takeover.....with 101 Shorts beers on tap

very very wise in my opinion, b nektar can be hard to find if you use a gps....just turn on wanda and go straight, you will see signs. its in a warehouse type building. this is a waste of info if u have been there but my gps got me all screwed up the first time i went there.. i will get at ya if i venture out!!!

Wiseness of decision confirmed. Had an awesome time learning about mead and Schramm's from Naegerbomb and Debbie. Would go back again infinite times/would suggest stopping by to anyone in from out of town. I will be singing their praises for quite a while.
Had the flight with Mambo in your Mouth, Plum, and Nutmeg, added Statement Reserve and Heart of Darkness, and tasted the Ginger, Peach, and the Statement as well. The cheese plate paired perfectly. I would call myself a happy man right now. See some of you tomorrow at Witch's.

Will do! Unfortunately, golf wasn't on the agenda in Michigan as I didn't have time to fit it in. I need to come back next summer and do a proper Michigan-only golf and beer/mead trip. I played the U of M course quite a bit when I was there for undergrad, and I would have liked to play it again if I had time. Heard there are some crazy beautiful courses up north, and I know Oakland County has some amazing tracks as well.
