I think this is a result of them being too dumb to realize the software automatically puts a period at the end of the sentence, and they are typing in "Troll.", hence the double-period.

Then again, it could just be that they really enjoy periods over at BA...

New BT member here. Most of you probably wouldn't recognize me from the other place, but a few of you might recall me doing IP favors (non-sexual...) recently. I'm not a trader yet, as there's always great beer in one's own backyard. I'm into the online beer community for the chance to talk beer and meet up on occasion.

I like this site, the philosophy, and the ability to talk non-beer things. It's a little disorganized feeling, but I've laughed harder in the last two days than the previous two weeks. I might not be very active here, but if people are headed to Austin, TX, let me know.

...until I read the email today. Moving the event from a nice, small venue where there was 400(?) people per session, to a much larger place where their will be 2000+. ******* ruined.

What good will that do? We all know there are multiple ways to work around that anyway.

Besides, I hope they come see what we have going here. Maybe it will help them step up their game, kind of like the way I beat the PISS out of my 7 year old every time we play one on one....my wife thinks I should let him win once in a while....I say trouncing him 21-0 full court is only way to make him a man (as well as likely murder me in my sleep).

I think it's revealing when BT announced the trader feedback system Gene garnered 79 "likes". When BA announced the trader feedback system Todd achieved a mere 6 "likes". BA has 187 times the amount of members we do.

That alone will tell you the members of this community are the essence, and soul of the trading scene.
Or that Gene is awsome.
