So they're allowing the limited release of this, just telling them it can't become the name of a regularly offered product?

This "dilly dilly" garbage is so annoying, I'm hoping it goes away soon. Unfortunately it seems to have caught on to the point that it will be around for a while, like the "Whassssup" guys.

AB telling them "go ahead and make your one-off brew with our trademark, but don't do it again." And being good sports about it.

Who cares if Modist Brewing can't make another Dilly Dilly? They just got a shiat-ton of free publicity.

I had to follow the link to see what "dilly dilly" is. 10 years with no cable or broadcast TV puts one out of touch. Mercifully.

Well that went away to and now the only people that said it in the last 10 years was the Dudley Boyz.

I only have an antenna for my television, but I have the directv sunday ticket for football on my xbox. I only see the commercial during the games on there. Either way, it's hilarious. I'm going to disagree with the above though, dilly dilly is great.

I actually thought it was a pretty classy move. Not at all crushing the craft brew movement. It was like saying "Yeah, we get it, you have some cool craft beer, but you are parasitizing our multimillion dollar super-bowl advertisement and we are not cool with it. However, we are going to take the high-road and be funny about it and even offer your Super-Bowl tickets." Not bad if ask me. Almost even supportive of craft brewing as they seem to realize this would be a PR moment for the smaller brewery. But this is just a Canadian speaking whose macro-beer is arguably worse than any Bud-beer :)

Cheers
