Dude - I love drunk record purchasing...for me, it's usually something on discogs that's been on my wantlist for forever, but can't pull the sober trigger cause too expensive..

Such a great record. Can never find this thing under $40 (I'm cheap?)...maybe will find the zero ***** drunken courage over the holiday to buy it.

Thrill Jockey really knows how to make me buy the same album 2 or 3 times. Luckily they sound fantastic and now I can gift my old plain janes to my buddy. Drinks not pictured because I haven't made it to band practice yet Happy Thanksgiving everybody

How do you feel about their newer stuff? I saw them last year at a small venue in New Haven and the first half of the show they played Star Wars in it's entirety all the way through and the second half they played their older stuff. The show was amazing. Really got into Schmilco too.

Can’t comment. Literally haven’t paid attention to anything post- sky blue sky other than the “tweedy” album which was mostly butt........but! I would have to think that Jeff Tweedy is still making good musack. Dudes too conceded to **** things up.

Stars Wars brought me back on board after losing the thread after Ghost is Born. Saw them at an outdoor spot this Summer and they were amazing. Star Wars, Schmilco and all other songs were blissed out.

I started to write a long self effacing follow up on dealing with listening to white guy indie/Dad rock, but I’ll save the guilt for those moments I think of the Native Americans today
