The nice thing about living in Boston was pretty much any night of the week one could go to Obriens in Allston and see a punk or metal show full of bands that annoy me less than Dropkick. The weird side effect of this is bands kind of run together and you end up only separating them based on who, if anyone, you know in a given band. Point is, I'm not familiar with those two bands and I needed to buy some time to listen to some of their stuff. I approve.Pierre Pressure - this is one of a handful that I loved from late 90s street punk Boston. These guys okay, at least?

Thats funny, i only know of Showcase Showdown bc the Dropkicks shouted their name out in one of the tracks from their first album....back before the internet, when shout-outs/liner-note thank-you's were the only way to discover new bands.
I was all about that whole scene back then - dropkick, showcase showdown, ducky boys, toxic narcotic, unseen. I loved it all.
I just assumed you didn't sleep.
Those guys are those guy
If you think Dropkick is the sum and total, the apex, of 90s Boston street punk then I truly pity you.For the record (pun intended), I love 90s Boston street punk... even if Pierre Pressure doesn’t

I don’t. I just know how much you hate them.
But I definitely loved Do or Die. Still do. Then things got more and more sketchy as time went on. Gangs All Here was the most disappointed I may have ever been in a follow up to a debut record. Lost their edge completely when McColgan left the band. Since then I’d say they amuse me at best, but I certainly don’t think they’re any good after that first album.
