THEY ARE SOOOOOO DANK!!!
Are they gonna start shipping Focal to restaurants again or is that permanent ? Heading up that in Sept. CheersSo by my estimation, they've pulled 500 cases from weekly circulation to stock the new brewery. I was hoping that the new space would be self sustaining with Heady. And since they stopped delivering Focal to restaurants a couple of weeks ago, it makes one wonder how old the Focal stash will be once they finally open.
My understanding is no. Focal is strictly brewery only. Heady will still be in restaurants and 4 packs around Stowe Waterbury Burlington etc.Are they gonna start shipping Focal to restaurants again or is that permanent ? Heading up that in Sept. Cheers
hopefully things die down by August, but with FoFA i highly doubt it hahaha
Hopefully the Alchemist won't be as busy in the fall.... Oh wait thats leaf peeper season.
Hopefully the Alchemist won't be as busy in the winter....... Oh wait thats ski season.
Hopefully the Alchemist won't be as busy in the spring..... Oh wait the weather is getting better and people still take vacations to VT. Plus college kids have spring break.
Hopefully the Alchemist won't be as busy in the summer..... Oh wait lots of beer festivals (FOFA, Lawsons markets) plus holidays (Memorial Day, Fourth of July)

april and november are dead in VT
Operation was running smoothly at the brewery today. All told about a half hour experience. Very friendly staff, free samples, cool space. Beers were excellent.
I love calling a 9.6% dank hop monster of a beer "Crusher", simply because I so commonly use that adjective to describe lawn mower beers.![]()
K and I got shut out on Crusher, but I did randomly trade a guy a focal for crusher 4:4pack in Waterbury so I will be sending you a sample of the new stuff good doctor.iso?
Can't say I recommend checking out the new brewery unless you are a fan of lines and cattle herding.
Hope they figure something out, the crowds are nuts.
I know it's new & #2016craftbeer but it was never this crowded at the old place. I'll be going elsewhere until something changes or the hype passes.

Stupid question. Crusher prior to the new brewery opening was listed as 9.6%. The cans are labeled as 9%. Is it 9 or 9.6%? Yes I realize people may say this question is stupid. But I count calories and like to have an approximate calorie count on the beer i'm drinking. I realize it may not always be exactly 9% it may be 9.2 or 8.9 or whatever but can anyone shed some light into the ABV being 9% or 9.6% ?
So we're headed to hf today and although Saturday is probably the wrongday to stop, would a12 pm on the way up or a4 pm on the way home work out better?
I've driven by almost daily since the 4th and I refuse to say this...but I will, regrettably...but seriously; if you're not in that lot by 11, forget it. By 11....be in that parking lot. Not on the street...don't ******* get them hassled. Be IN the lot. I've heard you can be in/out in average 30m up to 60.
I've struck out twice...once going around 3:30PM and the other at 1:40PM and they had sold out of their daily allotment both days, respectively.
Be there with a smile by 11AM and you should be good.
I'll be there come stick season. Cheers.
well, wound up stopping on our way back down from HF. got there at 2:30, was out by a little after 3, but was "only" able to get 2 4 packs of focal .
have to say seeing what the new brewery looks like, i can see where all of the money went. very advante gardeeeeeee at least in the looks and what a typical brewery looks like
Found this can in a box in my cellar. Must've been an extra in a trade. I realize it's a long shot, but has anyone had one recently? I've not had it before. Im guessing it's from 12/2014.
