Hi everyone-
I'm new here... originally from Jersey, been down FL for over a decade+ now ... recently started messing with a Mr. Beer kit I have had in the closet for some time and got the desire to mess with brewing again. The first time I ever messed with brewing was also a Mr. Beer, shortly before HS Graduation in 1999, and it turned out amazing. Probably haven't tried in 20 years or so.
Came for some help & tips, very much appreciate all the knowledge and experience here. I'm actually a Sommelier by trade that once worked at a Winery/Vineyard whose master Winemaker would distill Brandy for fortifying certain wines & brewed Beer for the fun of it, and I had a helluva time pinching the occasional glass of Brandy from the barrel or pint of beer from his stash in one of the many fridges.
