Been a lurker for about a year and just jumped into the all-grain brewing madness in May 2013. Never brewed before and went straight all-grain from day one. Would not have been able to do it without the information shared on HBT.
After going through several cheap thermometers, I decided it was time to invest in some good thermos. From insight shared on HBT, I went with the thermopen and another thermometer with a long thermocouple for my mash, from ThermoWorks. Best investment to date. I am scared to know how far off my temps were before, but the beers turned out good.
