this morning's test run with a SQ-14 burner and a 15 gallon fermtap pot, this is the pot sold by many vendors which has the encapsulated bottom; showed the evaporation rate with a simmering 1 hour boil to be 2 gallons out of the start volume of ten.
also i noticed discolorations on the inside bottom of the pot that look similar to rust?....this is supposed to be stainless.
is this evap rate normal or high and has anyone experienced the discolorations with these pot?
