This is the label I have been playing around with in GIMP and Inkscape. It's for my Multi-National Pale Ale.

I've always like the simple two color designs. I like it.

Well thank you very much. I had to do something with the wood grain when I found it in GIMP. 2 colors to me is simple, I had a couple of real flashy ones, but thats all they were, flashy.

Nice label classic design which could be used for many different styles of beer.

I like the design. Maybe make the map of Michigan a bit bigger and put the name of the beer in white letters inside the lower peninsula. Also, if you're going for a wood looking background, maybe go on to stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site or deviantART: where ART meets application! and try and find a nice high resolution wood texture you can put in the background instead of having the wood texture that shows its pattern (unless that's what you're going for).
