My box was 21x12x13, came in at 24 lbs, lots of packing material to keep it safe. Used fedex online and it came out to a whopping $14 and change, helped that it was a business address it was shipped too. Shows it should be there Thursday!

Yup, mine got estimated at $41...but I used my company account so hopefully will be a little cheaper Also....my recipient declared that he does not want IPAs which was very sad to me as I had a few extra Pliny on hand but well..gotta respect the request.

If I had access to RR, i'd go for the sours.

Unfortunately the company is my own, so eventually it will go out of my pocket anyway

I think next time it would be fun to say what kind of beer you DO want in addition to what kind you don't.

I think that would make it easier. If you at least state ONE style you don't want and ONE you really like.

Last time we listed 3 styles we liked and people felt limited if they went outside the style even though it wasn't against the rules. TheMan is just trying different ways and I am a fan!

LOL. I would have had the same issue...but my recipient requested no IPAs and 95% of my stockpile is IPAs or dIPAs

I asked for no ipa's. Ran through a ton of them and its a style thats not for me. I enjoy the occasional ipa but i would be unlikely to buy one for myself regularly.
I'm really into sours right now.

That's of course understandable...But myself, I'd rather try a variety of whatever is locally available. This swap is great, I doubt I would have a chance to try so many different beers from far away at once in any other way

I'm gunna start something new on my Brewvision channel when I get some batteries tomorrow. I still have those beers remmy sent me in the fridge. gunna start home brew wednesday on Friday. Even have name for it. The Sea Hag IPA will be first up. I hope my impressions as a pm brewer & trying beers that're new to me might give y'all some new insights. I'll be doing my gadgets part two first. Gee,I hope I don't F this up!...:cross:

According to Fedex, my recipient should get his box-o-beer today. Hopefully he is as happy with what he received as I was with what I sent. Only problem was that I meant to add in a homebrew that used yeast from a local lab but forgot until after it was all sealed up. Oh well.
