I'd like to pick up a pump to aid in the wort transfer process. Anyone ever heard of Suprema pumps? There are several on ebay but I've never seen any mention at HBT.

They seem cheap, but I don't want to blow cash on something that's not going to work well. Perhaps I'll add a March Pump to my xmas list...

You can get march pumps for less than 144 US dollars......

That just looks like an awfully expensive fountain pump. It appears to be for aquarium use which probably means that it's not rated for high temperatures. Also, the beauty of a March (magnetic drive) pump is the ability to add a ball valve to the outlet side for flow control. You will damage a pump that isn't designed to slip if you restrict the outlet flow.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I really appreciate it!

Most pumps will allow you to restrict the outlet flow without causing problems. The only exception might be a positive displacement pump if you REALLY cut down the flow.
