I am brewing a Strawberry Blonde Kit, and my bloodhound hopped up on the table and ate the 1/2 lb of crystal malt I was supposed to steep. Would it be possible to use some dry crystal malt extract to replace the grains I was supposed to steep? Or should I make the hour long trek to a brewing supplies shop? I would really like to just brew this batch tonight.

Thanks!

Yeah, I don't think it will make that big of a difference.

I would use 1/3 pound of DME to replace the 1/2 pound of grain.

Sorry, meant Muntons Dry Malt Extract. Thanks for the help, i'll just brew it that way.
