Hey all! Anyone know if what's listed as available on their site up to date? Passing by tomorrow around open, and hoping to grab some Qualify and Fine Line (along with bottles, but I'm assuming that part is up to date).

Also, can anybody recommend any local spots for lunch eats? I remember seeing something mentioned somewhat recently, but can't seem to find it. Either way very excited to get up there again, this is only my first time in a year.

They are usually pretty good about updating the site with respect to what is available.

Looks like I picked the right weekend to finally head up there.

You know, I was just up there last weekend. But... I got there a little late in the day, and I got the second to last pretzel, which was a liiiiittttle less fresh than the pretzels to which I am accustomed (but was still delicious af). Maybe I need to go back up tomorrow, and be sure to arrive at open, so I can make sure I get the freshest pretzel possible. Oh, and also the beer.

There’s a thread for that!

I **** you not, as I bit into the only very slightly (barely, not even really) stale (but still totally so ******* delicious) pretzel, I thought to myself “if I dare to complain about this, I had better confine it to the TB First World Problems thread.”

But if it helps keep me in your good graces:

fresh Suarez pretzel > “late in the day” Suarez pretzel >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all other pretzels

Anyone know if vintage bottle Wednesday is making a return at some point?

Gawd damn! Such a well executed beer. Perfect balance of tartness, Brett funk, oak character, and fruit. Thanks MikeJones !

Anyone able to share tasting notes on the new Call to Mind Vintage?

Sure. This batch of call to mind vintage is good but probably my least favorite suarez bottle ever. I am a huge suarez fan, so I really like everything they do.

The main tastes for me were botanicals and chamomile with an earthy finish. Smell similar but muted. I felt like it was much less complex than his other offerings. Mouthfeel amazing as always. Maybe a tad low on carb.

Do you think that time would help?

fwiw, this basically my exact opinion of CTMV b1. Not my cup of (chamomile) tea.

All the “vintage” single-beer blends have been my least favorite Suarez bottles. Domain, on the other hand, was a standout favorite. So idk. I’m sure he’s nailing what he’s going for - Id just rather drink regular CTM (and lots of it).

By the way: am I right in thinking that they’ve released two CTM Vintage, but only one of the regular?
