I normally mix my priming sugar with spring water to dump in my keg after it boils. My kid was throwing a fit in the other room and I lost my concentration and mixed the sugar with tap water. Will this have an off flavor or since it was only 6 ounces of water will it not make a difference? I am hoping not because the beer turned out pretty well.

I use tap water for everything...if your water is good enough to drink its good enough to use in brewing.

Ok thank you both for the advice. My daughter just avoided a grounding!

You're fine. If your concerned you can boil it to sanitize, but it's doubtful you'll have an issue. Keep in mind you have alcohol now, not wort. Alcohol will kill most nasties even if your tap water was infected.
