I brewed a big barley wine yesterday. I harvested a lot of wyeast 1056 from previous batches and had been saving the yeast for this massive beer. I made a starter 3 days before I pitched the yeast. This morning when I woke up, one of my carboys was already at high krausen while the other carboy shows no signs of ANY fermentation. I split the starter between the two carboys. Any thoughts?

You know the yeast is fine, because of the krausen in carboy #1. So relax, don't worry, have a homebrew. If it were me, I'd give Carboy #2 time and not worry.
