So I bottled my first batch of cider, let them carb, and am about ready to pasturize them.

I can store the bottles at room temperature, because the pasteurization killed all the yeast, right? :ban:

Thanks!

Well, if it has been actually pasturized, it is in fact pasturized.

What is the question ?

Looking back, this was a really stupid thread. Pasteurizing kills the yeast. The only reason you can't leave cider at room temperature is cause the yeast will cause bottle bombs. Pasteurization stops bottle bombs.

DUHHHHHH.

Sorry guys. (can I delete a thread?)
